MSSCWG - Medieval South Suffolk Coarseware Gritty
Medium/coarse sandy with sparse very fine mica, sparse coarse rounded white or clear quartz, very occasional other inclusions such as calcareous or ferrous material. Occasionally oxidised (mainly surfaces only). Hard, well-fired, wheelmade.
