EMWCP - Early Medieval Ware Clay Pellets
East Suffolk type, similar to Melton Ware but not shelly. Fine/medium sandy, well-sorted, with sparse mica and very fine soft red/brown ferrous or clay particles. Black or reddish brown surfaces, red-brown margins and dark core, sometimes fully reduced.
